Honest and Legitimate Help
  In this age of the internet technology, we all find ourselves at one time or another wondering “Is there such a thing as "Honest and Legitimate Help?

You don't have to look too hard to find amazing stories about people who have made it big on the internet.  As a matter of fact, it seems you find a new story every day of how some average person made a fortune with relative ease.

We not only see a sea of average people making a fortune but we also see opportunity after opportunity that tells us all sorts of earning power.  Like . . .

    1.   How Would You Like to Earn $1,000 to $3,000 Per Month Part-Time Without Selling?
    2.   Make More $ in a Month Than You Used to Make in a Year!
    3.   Never Been Done Before!  $10,000 in 30 Days . . .
    4.   Automated Wealth –Simple “Hands Off” System Puts Money in Your Pocket!
    5.   Here’s the Answer to Your Dreams . . .
    6.   How Would an Extra $800 Plus . . . Per Month, Per Week or Per Day Change Your Life?

They have your head spinning like driving on the interstate of traffic with 16 lanes and you’re not sure which lane you should be in and which exit is the correct one.

However, rest assured, there’s no question the internet is responsible for a large number of success stories resulting from good and honest business opportunities.

Can you believe that some of these stories are totally false?  No....you are surely mistaken everything on the internet is accurate and true.   Believe it or not, many people take all or most of what they see as the absolute authority and truth.  Think for just a moment . . . if it all were so easy, why are so many people experiencing a financial crisis today?

Recently I saw an ad that portrayed a local woman as an overnight success on the internet.  Being inquisitive, I did some research and found this was a real person so I called her.  It took a couple attempts to reach her but when I finally reached her I introduced myself and quickly explained that I wasn't a telemarketer nor some crazy person.  I told her that I noticed an ad on the internet that announced her success and was calling to check into the program she was advertised in.  There was a long pause and she told me that surely I had the wrong person.  She further explained that she barely knew how to do anything other than check her email and do some searching on the net.

I shared with her the URL in which her ad appeared.  She started laughing and jokingly said "I had no idea that I was so famous."  Her emotions quickly changed to that of concern.  In our discussion it occurred to her that she had looked at a couple of ads about work at home moms and that she had entered some of her basic information to get some details.  From this basic information, this program created bogus ads that targeted local areas for misleading advertisement.  The ad was impressive and seemed legitimate but it was nothing more that a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

So many are taken advantage of with this kind of less than honorable marketing practice.

Please don't think that all or even the majority of ads/programs exercise underhanded practices.  In fact, there are many that offer honest and legitimate help.  Being able to recognize the good from the bad can sometimes be challenging.

A few tips to help you recognize scams;

    1.    The offer is just too good to be true;
    2.    The amount of money you can earn is too enormous;
    3.    There are documents that require you to pay;
    4.    Your personal details and documents are asked, i.e. id, passport, bank account info, etc.
    5.    You are told you must act quickly;
    6.    You are asked to deposit payments via Western Union;
    7.    If you see claims (as seen on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, FOX, etc), it's most likely a lie;
    8.    NEVER pay someone to work. If you are asked to pay money, chances are it's not a real job;
    9.    ALWAYS search for a detailed description of their business model. If not available prior to sign
           up, your email   inbox may be inundated with
"Opportunities to make you wealthy" that are just
           a  waste of time.

    10.  And many more . . .

Remember, the above are RED flags!

Some things to check:

    1.    If there is no contact information, name, or number, it's more than likely a scam. Check out
           Alexa dot com website; see if they have any
information on the domain name. If the website is
           legitimate there will be contact info along with how long the site has been on the web

    2.    Watch for excessive testimonials. Actually read the testimonials, and assess how realistic
           they sound.

    3.    Do a Google search for the program.  Look for real reviews. Be careful of the reviews, many
           can be bogus created by the program owner(s).

    4.    Is there an affiliate agreement?
    5.    What are the conditions of the agreement?
    6.    May I terminate the agreement? If so, How?
    7.    Is there a fee to join the program?
    8.    What is the commission rate?
    9.    What is the cookie duration?
    10.  Does the program pay lifetime commissions?
    11.  And many more . . . .

So how do you decide on what company within an industry to hitch your wagon to?  After all, choosing the wrong one often leads to wasted years of opportunity time, wasted money, strain on your relationships, and a loss of credibility (for getting into a business that causes your contacts to wonder about what you are thinking).  We all know people who have experiences, good and bad, in networking businesses.  Likely more bad than good, due to the sheer numbers of inexperienced people and the misleading/false advertising enticing them to join.

You can find honest and legitimate help online but diligence is vital.

Legitimate Make Money Ideas On The Internet

Free time, financial independence, no nine-to-five grind, the opportunity to be with family – this is what you’ll have once you find and select the right home business  opportunity.  Can it really be done? Frankly, yes and it is allowing more and more people to realize their dream every day.

There are literally thousands of ways to earn money online.  In fact over the recent years it has been growing and will continue to grow at a speed no one can imagine.  You can’t help but wonder, is it really that easy?  To be perfectly honest, some internet marketers exaggerate the simplicity of their products and/or services and to top the cake some play down the investment required.

First, you must remember that regardless of which avenue you select in making money from home you need to understand that working at home is just like a real job – it takes work.  But with the right mindset and a focus on your goals, you’ll be glad you started your own business.

Second you need to research a variety of home business opportunities, paying close attention to the training and support each offers.  And the best of all, having one-on-one and live training calls to make sure everyone is succeeding with your home business.  One that actually will mentor you.

This article will explore just a few of the more common ways to make money online.

Affiliate programs:

Affiliate programs can be a lot of fun, legitimate and very profitable. The key with selling affiliate products/services is learning to generate traffic, learning to work with people and building a team.  Affiliate marketing is very popular however there is a learning curve involved but at the same time it has made millionaires out of many regular people.  In affiliate marketing you will see many affiliate programs that offer the same type of products/services.  That is because one is a spin-off from an idea that was generated by another business opportunity.  What is important is that you are convinced of the products/services yourself.

Online Jobs:

Surprisingly there are more jobs to be found on the internet then people think.    In searching, you will find that the better paid income earners are considered to be contract jobs.  Going to these sites you can do a search by location (city and state), job classification followed by a specific job title. Some of the jobs you can find online are copywriting and editing/proofreading of web, programming from home, tele-commute jobs, virtual assistants, and many more.

Some of these sites offer services where they assist you to prepare a resume and post it on their site.  Why?  Because employers can access your resume without paying a fee, and that means more employers for you.

Help in finding honest and real jobs and different ways to make money, take a look at Elance.com, Guru.com, RentACoder.com, GraphicDesign.com, ContractedWork.com or Telecommute-Jobs.com.

Data sorting and other mundane jobs also pay by the hour. Although this is one of the least exciting make money ideas, these jobs do exist if you look in the right places. To avoid any scams, ask these types of questions first:

1. Who will pay me?
2. When will I get my first paycheck?
3. Will I be paid a salary or will my pay be based on commission?
4. What tasks will I have to perform?
5. What is the total cost (if any) of the program?
6. What will I get for my money?

Another very important and wise point is to check out the company with your local consumer protection agency, state attorney general, and the Better Business Bureau in the community where the company is located, as well as in the community where you live.

Posting in Forums:

Another way you can earn from home and like chatting to other people, giving advice, asking advice, etc., you could get paid for this within certain forums. Owners of new forums have a problem if there isn’t a lot of conversations going on. They resolve this by paying for posts. If this appeals to you, jump in, share your ideas and get paid for it! To find forum posting jobs, type "How to Find Forum Posting Jobs" in any of the major search engines.

The above barely scratches the surface when it comes to make money ideas online. So in closing, if you’re looking to earn money from home, are without a job, or want to change your life remember it’s out there just waiting for you.
